Digitize your field operations
For businesses whose work happens on site: crews, inspectors, installers, technicians. Move the process off paper, texts, and spreadsheets and into an app your team carries.
How it works today
- The schedule lives in a spreadsheet or whiteboard, and changes go out by text.
- Checklists are paper forms, photographed later or lost in the truck.
- Photos arrive in a group chat, then someone sorts them into job folders.
- The office learns a job is done when a person calls to say so.
- Billing waits on paperwork that has to travel back to the office first.
It works, and it is probably why your business is where it is. It also depends on people remembering things, and it does not scale past the people doing it.
What changes with software
-
Jobs and schedules in everyone's pocket
Each person sees their day, and the office sees changes the moment they happen.
-
Checklists that cannot be skipped
Digital forms with required steps, notes, and sign-off, tied to the job they belong to.
-
Photos attached to the work
Photos taken in the app land on the right job automatically, with who and when.
-
Built for patchy signal
Field apps have to cope with basements, rural sites, and dead zones, so we design for working without a connection and syncing afterward.
-
Status the office can see
Open, in progress, done: a live view replaces the phone call, and finished work can flow straight to invoicing.
How we would do it
We start with the part of the process that matters most, as a fixed-price proof of concept, so you can use it before deciding on the rest. From there, two models:
Managed
Good when your process looks like common scheduling, checklist, and reporting patterns. Your branded app runs on our platform and goes live in weeks, on a published monthly plan. We own and run the software; you own your data, customer relationships, and brand.
Build
Better when your workflow is specific to your trade or needs to connect to your own systems. We scope it for a fixed price, build it, and you own the code. Our team can keep running it as a dedicated team if you want.
Who owns what under each model is laid out on the pricing page.
Related experience
We do not have a published field-operations case study yet. The closest is Kenzai, which ran its programs on email and PDFs before we built its app. What carries over is the platform underneath: sign-in, messaging, data, and payments, already built and operated, as described on the platform page. DRIVN, a client sports platform built on it, has served 100+ college and pro programs since 2015. See our work.
